Manufacturing Process

CARBIDE BURRS PRODUCTION

Every carbide burr passes through six precision-controlled stages -- from raw material wet grinding to final quality testing -- ensuring consistent HRA 90.3-91.5 hardness and surface finish.

WET GRINDING

Tungsten carbide powder is wet-ground with binders to achieve uniform particle size distribution and optimal material consistency for pressing.

PRESSING

Carbide mixture is precision-pressed into blank forms using controlled pressure to ensure uniform density and dimensional accuracy across every piece.

SINTERING

High-temperature vacuum sintering bonds carbide particles into a dense, hard structure -- achieving the signature HRA 90.3-91.5 hardness rating.

FLUTING

5-axis CNC fluting machines carve precise cutting geometries -- double cut, single cut, aluminium cut and specialty profiles -- with micron-level accuracy.

TESTING

Every burr undergoes rigorous hardness testing, dimensional inspection, and surface quality checks to verify compliance with HRA 90.3-91.5 specifications.

SHIPPING

Finished burrs are professionally packaged and dispatched globally -- with reliable logistics infrastructure supporting 20+ industries worldwide.

MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY

RAW MATERIAL

As a direct-source manufacturer, we craft carbide burrs from 100% pure tungsten carbide raw material. Cutting edges undergo professional hardening and precision honing, delivering exceptional sharpness and long-lasting durability.

100% Pure WC -- No intermediaries, no compromises

R-SHAPE SHANK

Engineered with an enlarged welding area to greatly enhance impact resistance. The shank is made of premium 40Cr steel, compatible with 1/4 inch collet rotary tools -- ensuring easy installation and firm, stable clamping.

WELDING PROCESS

Flat-top silver brazing with 50% silver sandwich solder operates at 700°C -- far lower than copper brazing at 1250°C. This preserves alloy quality, expands the welding area, and fundamentally eliminates carbide burr fracture problems.

CUT GEOMETRY

Self-developed automatic CNC machines realize standardized tooth profiles with ideal chip evacuation for hard metals and stainless steel -- cutting performance that outperforms peers.

CARBIDE GRIT
PRODUCTION

Tungsten carbide grit is produced by crushing and grading YG/YT tungsten carbide into sized particles. It serves as a key raw material for carbide composite welding rods, spray welding and surfacing materials.

Tungsten Carbide Grit (YG/YT)
Widely applied for surface cladding, pre-strengthening and wear repair in mining, petroleum, metallurgy, agricultural machinery and steel industries.
Mining Petroleum Metallurgy Agricultural Machinery
High-Entropy Alloy Grit (Ti-Cr-Mn-W-Mo)
Low density, low magnetism, excellent corrosion and wear resistance. Replaces over 90% of tungsten carbide performance -- ideal for aerospace, defense and energy sectors.
