Hainan Joint Carbide Attends ATC Shanghai International Automotive Chassis System Technology Exhibition 2026 | Showcase TiC-CrFe Alloy Powder for Euro 7 Brake Disc Solutions
Time: June 3-5, 2026
Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Centre
Booth: E49027
From June 3 to 5, 2026, Hainan Joint Carbide participated in the 2026 ATC Shanghai International Automotive Chassis System Technology Exhibition at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The core objective was to showcase its Euro 7-compliant brake disc coating solutions, engage with global industry stakeholders, and capture market opportunities amid tightening emission regulations.

As a premier industry event dedicated to automotive chassis technologies, the exhibition brought together leading material suppliers, coating service providers, equipment manufacturers, and automotive component enterprises worldwide, serving as a high-caliber platform for technical dialogue and business matchmaking.

We presented our self-developed spherical composite TiC-CrFe alloy powder, engineered specifically for brake disc coating to meet EU Euro 7 requirements. Officially enforced in May 2024, Euro 7 limits passenger car PM emissions to 7mg/km, with a further reduction to 3mg/km by 2035. Since conventional gray cast iron brake discs cannot meet this mandatory standard, the market has robust demand for high-performance coating solutions.

On site, our TiC-CrFe alloy powder drew extensive attention from attendees. Purpose-built for automotive brake disc laser cladding, it boasts ≥95% sphericity, 1.9-2.2 g/cm³ apparent density and 45-50s/50g Hall flow rate for stable processing, with particle size matching mainstream European suppliers at a more competitive cost. The resulting cladding coating, 1.2-2.0 mm thick, with a hardness of 50-55 HRC (53 on average), features a pore-and crack-free microstructure and robust adhesion to the steel substrate, delivering superior wear resistance and effective particulate emission reduction. Validated by auto component manufacturers per Euro 7 standards, it proves reliable compliance, stable performance, and strengths in cost efficiency and full-process technical support.

Our team held in-depth discussions with industry peers, confirming the broad consensus that Euro 7 has reshaped the global brake disc industry landscape. We established initial connections with diverse industrial partners, collected first-hand market feedback, and fully validated the market potential of our products.

Moving forward, we will remain committed to R&D and innovation of brake disc coating materials, continuously optimizing product performance and technical service systems. We will further expand its global footprint, deepen collaboration with industrial chain partners, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective material solutions to support the low-emission transformation of the global automotive industry.
